DESCRIPTION
GAVISCON DOUBLE ACTION tablets maintain fast, soothing and long lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion.
Each tablet of Gaviscon Double Action tablets contains:
250mg sodium alginate.
5mg sodium bicarbonate.
5mg calcium carbonate.
BENEFITS
Neutralizing excess stomach acid to relieve the pain and discomfort as it contains a combination of two antacids, calcium
carbonate and sodium bicarbonate.
Forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents to soothe the burning pain in your chest
(alginate).
treatment of symptoms of
gastro-esophageal reflux which may occur following meals or during pregnancy and for symptoms hyperacidity.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE/ HOW TO USE
Take 2 to 4 tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.
Consult your doctor if you follow a restricted salts diet as it contains sodium and calcium salts.
Not to be taken within two hours of taking medications like fluoroquinolones antibiotics, Iron, Thyroid hormones and bisphosphonates.
